With Freddie Andersen gone after signing with the Carolina Hurricanes, we now have a battle brewing of who’s going to be the Maple Leafs starting goalie between Jack Campbell and Petr Mrazek.
Fans screamed once again in the offseason that Kyle Dubas needed to secure a premier goaltender to help the Leafs go deeper in the playoffs this year, but that wasn’t going to happen with the salary cap situation – so we had to settle with a Campbell and Mrazek combo and hope that formula is enough to keep the pucks out of the net.
I think many fans will remember Jack Campbell doing better than expected when he set a NHL record with 11 straight wins to start a season, but also can’t forget after he let in a couple of softies during the playoffs that helped contribute to a first round exit against the Montreal Canadiens in the playoffs.

I’m not sure who’s better, and I’m not sure either of them are good enough to be honest.
For this poll we’re asking fans to select who will be the Maple Leafs starting goalie this year in terms of who gets the majority of playing time in the crease.
